WhooHoo!

It is an exciting day at Keystone Camp! We are thrilled to announce Jazz Whyatt is joining our full-time, year-round staff as an Associate Director. We have had the pleasure of working with Jazz since the summer of 2017. She has been an asset in each of our summers, and we could not be more excited to have her joining our administrative team.

Jazz is a 2019 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She earned a degree in elementary education with a concentration in English. Jazz has taught first grade in the Robeson County, NC public school system for the past 3 years. Based on our experience with Jazz as a camp counselor, we know she is a terrific elementary school teacher!

If you have been to Keystone, you know that Jazz is a thoughtful, caring staff member. She has increased her responsibilities over her 5 previous summers by leading an age group, working with our leadership girls, and most recently assisting with parent communications. Jazz is very creative and has worked in our Arts and Crafts program. She enjoys painting and drawing, and she loves to crochet. Her latest hobby is cooking, and she can also be found playing volleyball in her free time.

Jazz will be moving to camp in May, just in time for staff development week. WhooHoo! Summer is coming, and we could not feel more excited about Jazz and the skills she brings to Keystone.
